Sail away! My name is Tobias. This is my<\/a> sailing blog. On this site, I report from the journey<\/a> with my sailboat „MAYA<\/a>“ (a Najad 34<\/a>).<\/p>\n

I started my world trip in August 2017 in the Netherlands but then left the boat in Lisbon\/Portugal for about a year before the „real“ journey could begin. At the beginning of 2019, I started as a „full-time sailor“. So far, I have sailed more than 16000 nautical miles, visiting 16 countries and 4 continents. I crossed the Atlantic<\/a> and the Caribbean<\/a>. Now I am sailing in the South Pacific<\/a>. Since August 2021, however, I’m no longer a full-time sailor because I have taken up a job in Thailand. It is certainly not always easy to travel by sailboat, but I have not yet regretted the decision to embark on this adventure.<\/p>\n

In addition, I sometimes post on Instagram<\/a> (because it’s faster than writing a detailed blog article). With this website, I hope to allow others to share a little of my adventure. I wish all readers lots of fun and always fair winds!<\/p>\n\n\n
