Relatively at the beginning of the trip and of course in the middle of the Strait of Gibraltar (one of the most frequented shipping routes in the world) we had a damage to our Genoa (= our big headsail) and had to salvage the sail to avoid further damage. It became noticeably warmer from day to day. It was a good feeling to be with our Maya again on an &#8222;offshore sailing trip&#8220;. On the last few miles to Las Palmas we even had relatively little wind and we also used the &#8222;underwater Genoa&#8220; (i.e. our engine). From the famous\/notorious &#8222;nozzle&#8220; between the islands we did not notice much.
