Die Insel ist sehr entspannt, und wir k\u00f6nnen mit unserem Boot in einem alten Yachthafen kurz vor dem Dorf Otepa \u00fcbernachten. Als wir ankamen waren gerade mal 2 weitere Boote auf der Insel. W\u00e4hrend des Heiva wird der Hauptplatz des Otepa-Dorfes sch\u00f6n dekoriert und es werden verschiedene Speisen zum Verkauf angeboten, auch k\u00fcnstlerische Darbietungen, insbesondere der polynesische Tanz, und Sportwettbewerbe (u.a. Speerwerfen und Einbaumkanu-Rennen) werden organisiert. Es ist wirklich sch\u00f6n, die polynesischen Traditionen in Aktion zu sehen\u2014auch wenn aufgrund der Corona-Krise viele Gruppen mit T\u00e4nzern von anderen Inseln nicht zu den Festlichkeiten kommen k\u00f6nnen.
