Von Hao aus sind es nur ca. 15 Seemeilen bis Amanu. Trotzdem ist es wie eine andere Welt. Wir haben den Eindruck, dass es etwas gr\u00fcner als Hao ist. Ein Highlight f\u00fcr uns war, dass wir an unserem Ankerplatz 3x von einem Wal besucht wurden. Die Korallen an unserem Ankerplatz waren sehr sch\u00f6n und relativ viel Leben im Wasser. Wir haben viele Haie beobachtet und auch an Land sieht die Natur an vielen Stellen relativ ungest\u00f6rt aus. Es gibt ein kleines Hafenbecken in dem man Ankern kann, wenn das Boot nicht viel Tiefgang hat. Bei uns w\u00e4re es wohlgerade an der Grenze. Anstelle es auszuprobieren haben wir uns allerdings daf\u00fcr entschieden au\u00dferhalb des Village hinter einem Riff zu ankern. Vielleicht auch weil schon ein paar Boote im Hafen lagen (3 Kats und ein Monohull). Am Ankerplatz sind wir ungest\u00f6rt und k\u00f6nnen mit unserem Kajak trotzdem bequem an Land und zum Village laufen. So sehen wir auch mehr von der Insel. Das Village Ikitake ist sehr beschaulich. Es gibt 2 kleine Kirchen (alte und neue Kirche), 2 L\u00e4den, eine Poststelle und das B\u00fcrgermeister\/Rathaus (Mairie). Alle sind relativ schmal. Das Pass Fafameru, der dem Village am n\u00e4chsten gelegen ist, war unsere Wahl. Als wir angekommen sind war gerade auslaufendes Wasser und Welle von Norden, d.h. Welle und Strom gegenl\u00e4ufig.\u00a0 Da es schon sp\u00e4t war und wir noch mit Tageslicht einen Ankerplatz suchen wollten haben wir uns entschieden es trotzdem zu wagen und gleich einzulaufen. Es war schon ein hei\u00dfer Ritt. \u00c4hnliche Bedingungen hatten wir bisher nur in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sy-maya.de\/home\/2020\/02\/09\/aequatortaufe-ueberfahrt-von-panama-nach-ecuador\/\">Bahia\/Equador<\/a>. Es ist aber alles gut gegangen und wir konnten noch vor Sonnenuntergang einen netten Ankerplatz finden. Ein benachbarter Segler hat uns einen Tipp gegeben. Seekarten von Amanu sind ungenau. Viele Stellen im Atoll Amanu sind tief (\u00fcber 30 Meter) und es gibt viele Korallen, daher ist es nicht immer leicht einen guten Platz zum Ankern zu finden. Insbesondere in der N\u00e4he des Village. Im Norden ist es glaube ich etwas einfacher, aber dort waren wir nicht. Insgesamt waren wir nur 5 kurze Tage auf Amanu. Daneben waren wir auch noch besch\u00e4ftigt unser Boot f\u00fcr die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sy-maya.de\/home\/2020\/11\/02\/ueberfahrt-zu-den-marquesas\/\">\u00dcberfahrt zu dem Marquesas<\/a> vorzubereiten. Das angek\u00fcndigt gute Wetterfenster wollten wir nutzen.
