Umso gr\u00f6\u00dfer war die Freude als ich angekommen bin und festgestellt habe, dass das Boot die Zeit ohne gr\u00f6\u00dfere Katastrophen \u00fcberstanden hat. Der Boatyard auf Apataki ist vermutlich einer der abgelegensten Boatyards auf der Welt. Nicht nur ist Apataki keine der zentralen Inseln in den Tuamotus selbst auf Apataki ist der Boatyard noch relativ abseits. Er ist auf einem Motu gegen\u00fcber vom Pass und der einzigen Siedlung auf der Insel \ud83c\udfdd\ufe0f. Auf diesem Motu ist nur der Boatyard und sonst nichts. Das n\u00e4chste Lebensmittelgesch\u00e4ft ist in der 10sm entfernten Siedlung. Es gibt auf Apataki zwar einen kleinen Flughafen, aber Fl\u00fcge sind sp\u00e4rlich und Tickets schwer zu bekommen, da die Locals oft bereits fr\u00fchzeitig alle Kontingente aufkaufen. Zur Anreise zum Boot bin ich daher von Tahiti nach Arutua &#8211; der Nachbarinsel &#8211; geflogen. Es ist dort sehr trockenes Klima. Das ist wichtig, weil sonst schnell alles stockig wird, verschimmelt oder verrottet. \u00dcber die reine Aufbewahrung sind die Services allerdings begrenzt, weil es nicht so viele M\u00f6glichkeiten gibt. Der Boatyard f\u00fchrt zwar auch diverse Arbeiten durch, aber ich bin bezgl. deren Qualit\u00e4t nicht sicher Die Ersatzteilversorgung ist auch schwierig. Daher ist es ein Gl\u00fccksfall, dass die wichtigsten Ersatzteile, die ich auch Deutschland mitgebracht habe passen (siehe auch extra Artikel zum Thema <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sy-maya.de\/home\/2022\/05\/16\/ersatzteile-im-3d-druck\/\">Ersatzteile im 3D-Druck<\/a>).<br>Es hat ca. eine Woche gedauert, um Maya vorzubereiten. Dabei ging es nicht nur um Reparaturen, sondern auch um Putzen, Segel vorbereiten und und und&#8230; Segeln ist manchmal eben auch einfach mit Arbeit verbunden.
