The Atlantic has us again and seems very well-meaning to us! This beautiful little town is perfect to relax after the hustle and bustle of Lisbon. This city is also the birthplace of Vasco da Gama &#8211; the great explorer and seafarer. A beautiful city &#8211; we could love to spend more time here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our next destination was Portimao. A rather touristic city in the Algarve. But with a modern marina and good infrastructure. In January, however, many restaurants are closed and it seems a bit deserted. Even if there was a sailing regatta next to our anchorage, it didn&#8217;t bother us.
